Nick Swishers Website

While I was searching for a baseball blog template for my other blog. I came across Nick Swisher’s personal website. The site is designed by "Walk Design". The same company that designed "Barry Zito’s Strikeouts for Troops".

Yeah! Now all the lovesick baseball girls like myself can save "Nicky’s" website in their favorites. Girls the wait is over! He has an official website.

Hey hey Swish!! I’m a big fan, and I go to a lot of the games and signing events. Anyhow, I just wanted to drop you a posting ’cause I think it’s cool how you have this website and everything. Thank god you guys hung onto it tonight, and Embree flipped off the lights in the top of the 9th, to win it 4-3. Whew!! This is the point in the season where you all work as a team and turn it around, knock the Angels out, and get in a good situation for the post-season. We have to see the ballclub in another world series within the next 3-5 years, because I’m realizing how lucky we all are right now to still have you all here in Oakland, and can’t even fathom the idea of you in Fremont or San Jose. That doesn’t even sound right Fremont A’s!? You know what I mean? By the way, are they still going ahead with the switch to Silicon Valley or what? What are your thoughts on that, Swish?
Jeez, I remember the ’89 “battle of the bay” when the ‘quake hit. THose were good memories. I was so frustrated I missed that once in a lifetime signing event at the Pyramid Brewery Alehouse in Berkeley. I mean when do you ever get to sit down and actually have a real conversation over a nice dinner and ice cold beer, with one of your favorite players? Hey man if you guys make the post-season and get to the WORLD SERIES this year I’m throwing a massive BARBECUE with all the meat and beer provided by me, and you’re invited. On another note, you want to hear something crazy? There’s a buddy of mine who pitched for Sonoma State (his name is Paige Dumont) last season who was a closer who had an ERA of 0.39!!!! Is that crazy or what?! That’s unheard of!! I think he’s going to get drafted to the Philadelphia Phillies!

Anyway, I love the game; grew up playing baseball my whole life. Unfortunately, just not quite living out a dream like you are. Well, I am going to go through tryouts this Fall for Sonoma NCAA ball, and really look forward to that! But I’m not going to play to get to the minors or anything, I’ll just do it for fun and to get my “15 minutes” if you know what I mean.

Another funny thing is that I think you were born in the same year i was! Well, wish me luck this Fall and I’ll look for you at Root Beer Float Day, Swish!!

    -Adios-
